Mike Schwede is an entrepreneur, Digital Marketing strategist but also a lecturer for Social Media. In the past 20 years, he has influenced the Swiss Digital-Market-Scene but also developed and implemented strategies and projects for companies like Axa, McDonald’s, SBB, Swisscom, Migros, TUI, Ringier, UBS or Vontobel. 

Mike Schwede is Top50 Digital Leader according to Swiss newspaper Handelszeitung.

As founder of Goldbach Interactive (previously called orange8 interactive), he and his business partner developed the company between 1998 and 2011 to a leading online agency in Switzerland and Europe. Right now he is digital head at the top creative marketing agency ‘Die Antwort’ and also a consultant at his company ‘Mike Schwede GmbH’. He also shares his knowledge at BFH, FHNW Olten, HSLU, MAZ, University of Basel and ZHAW.

The serial entrepreneur founded his first company at the age of 21 and commutes for his startups between Biel, Zürich and London. These would be: cooala, the Content Marketing Tool; Powdience, a tool for data-based Marketing-Personas.

He regularly organises London startup tours for entrepreneurial students of the HSLU and helps Swiss startups to kick-off in the UK or introduces UK marketing startups and scale-ups to decision makers in Switzerland. To help startups and young e-commerce retailers to succeed he offers marketing and media services for equity.

In his spare time he loves to eat and cook, to hike and exercise and organise Pop-Up brunches or spends time with his three children on the waves of Europe or Indonesia.
